On January 11 2006, Giorgio Taverniti, founder of an important at that time seo forum in Italy (and not only. It just has the problem it's in italian, but level was very high), launched a new SEO contest. Participants have to rank on first position for the keyword "fattori arcani" on Google.it (italian language for Google) on June 1 2006.
"Fattori arcani" means nothing, actually! Literal translation is something like "mysterious factors", but it doesn't make sense. In fact, before this contest started, Google had only 607 results for keyword "fattori arcani". Now it's around 900.000. This contest is a great success, no doubt!
There is only one rule: there are no rules. This is not an incentive to use the worst tricks in SEO world, but it's just a guarantee we won't have discussion about the winner at the end of this contest. The good thing is that pages are all for Google, and not for users. This is why we are not seeing doorpages or hidden text.
At the end of the contest, on June the 1th, we'll know who is the winner of "fattori arcani" seo contest.
